So once you get your appliance and you take it home you're going to need to care for it. And so one of the most critical parts is to make sure that you're keeping the appliance clean. We recommend that you just use a gentle soft soap and a toothbrush in the morning. After you take the appliance out rinse it off and then just brush it really well all the way through and if it has screw mechanisms brush it on the screw mechanisms. Rinse it off completely and then keep it in the case usually we suggest that you keep it open in order to allow air to get in during the day. If you close the case it's possible that you could create odor in there because there are bacteria from your mouth that can stay on the appliance, keeping the lid open may be helpful
